Sometimes REDIRECT works (W). Lost is html coding too. I would like to
pass on the HTML coding in some messages [on a case by vase]

It's confusing how these things work. Must not be a priority at Opera.

And so it was... Opps. NOW if I could get my Email to work with 10 also, I
could say good bye to 9.xx forever.

Thanks for the tip!

And so it has. Why didn't anyone say so?

Hey, listen, do you know how to integrate my mail into ver 10, too?

I tried a few different ways and nada. I was hoping to point 10 to where
9.xx kept it but I can't find the file that tells Opera where the mail is.

Because Opera has been against HTML email from the beginning :) I'm not sure what it looks like on a fresh install (or even on anyone else's upgrade) but for me the option to switch over to HTML was hidden away and not very obvious. It seems that by default the mail program will choose plaintext emails over HTML (which you can change).

Anyway, what's the trouble with your mail? If you do an upgrade then Opera 10 should request to convert your mail database (which may take a few minutes, or so it claims) and then you should be OK. Have you heavily customized your install? Which operating system are you using, again?

Working with Vista 64.

I have Opera 9.64 installed. I installed Opera 10 overtop of what was
there. Most things went flawlessly. However the mail didn't. I tried to
edit the .INI file but couldn't find a line that said where the mail
database is located. I *can* find the mail database and I did try just
moving it over to where ver-10 was looking for it (according to 10's INI
file.

This opened all the mail with out filters (this is aparticular problem) so
I run both versions (for now). I like version 10 (for the hitherto
unknown) ability to send HTML in my Email. Hopefully this will allow
forwarding email that has HTML code without munging it up too much.

Anyway, I do the about:opera thing and get a list of files Opera uses to
run with. I was thinking if I could find the file with THIS info, I could
have Opera 10 just look at Opera 9.xx's locations for email and the like.
