Hey,

I hope that someone can help me with the next problem:

When I receive a mail in Opera, the time is one hour ahead from
my local time. Here is an example:

---
Return-path: <***@dds.nl>
Envelope-to: ***@jkfloris.demon.nl
Delivery-date: Fri, 09 Apr 2010 10:35:47 +0000
Received: from floris by jkfloris.demon.nl with local (Exim 4.69)
(envelope-from <***@dds.nl>) id 1O0BYx-0004Uo-Id for
***@jkfloris.demon.nl; Fri, 09 Apr 2010 10:35:47 +0000
To: ***@jkfloris.demon.nl
Subject: time test
Message-ID: <E1O0BYx-0004Uo-***@jkfloris.demon.nl>
From: floris <***@dds.nl>
Date: Fri, 09 Apr 2010 13:35:47 +0300

vr apr 9 12:35:47 CEST 2010
---

As you can see the mail server use UTC (+0000) The time in the body
is the correct local time (is +0200), but Opera uses +0300
(Date: Fri, 09 Apr 2010 13:35:47 +0300)

When I open the mail in Mozilla Thunderbird the correct local time
is showed, so I think Opera causes the problem .

Where can I change the wrong timezone setting from +0300 to +0200?

thanks in advance,

floris

I've had this problem a couple of times.

The first time I don't think I figured out what was wrong and I think the
problem went away after I re-installed Windows or Opera or both.

The second time it turned out to be Windows automatically adjusting the
system clock for the end of daylight saving time a week early. Unchecking
"Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" and setting the
clock to the correct time solved the problem.

I don't think this is a Windows problem, because on several systems I have
the same problem. It is also not a mail server issue, because Thunderbird
does show the right time. So where can I find and edit the timezone
settings
in Opera?

Installing Opera 10.52 will solve this 10.51 problem.
