Can anyone point me to some kind of explanation of how
synchronization works, or is supposed to? I seem to have switched
synchronization on and I am wondering what will happen when I start
up my desktop, one of these days. Do I first have to install 10.01 on
the desktop? (Sounds logical.) Does synchronization merge bookmark
lists? What else does it do?

Cheers, Harry

You're gonna love it.

Your notes, contect list, book marks are synchronized on Opera.
Specifically your Community page. Don't have one? (prolly do, cause I
think it warns you if you don't) Go to your web page and one of the
sub-menus will be Links. All of your synchronezed info is there also. So
if you travel, you can always have that important info via the web.

Excellent! Thanks for the explanation Finnigann - I shall go and look
for my Community page straight away!
