I know this is going to be a tricky answer. But in an earlier incantation
of Opera, the wand remembered a password for a web site. This didn't get
passed onto later upgrades of Opera. It's still in the eailer copy of
Opera (9.x) Is there a way to get THAT single password transfered to the
latest version? They do not reissue passwords either.

Man, I have had ALLOT of problems with Opera upgrades. Please, someone,
tell me it's gonna get better. Or failing that, tell me Microsoft bought
Opera so I can blame them for this crappy behavior

I didn't mention I am using Vista. And Vista doesn't LIKE it. Access
denied messages like pop corn.
I followed the simple instructions got error messages. I moved the subdir
to another partition (hoping) and then it started deleting the unwand
util. But that was System Suite quarantined the .EXE I'm stumped for now.
Something else may occour to me later on.

But hey thanks! The web page indicates some had success with it.

I did find this page and it DID WORK!

http://my.opera.com/Tamil/blog/view-saved-passwords-in-wand

That is it gave me a password. It's not yet worked but we are miles closer.

Thanks everyone. I was using search parameters different from the ones
used by you and yours worked better. (SMILE)

For a moment I read this as SMLE...

Must have sth to do with another of my interests... :-)

The actual content of your message is, unlike the above, interesting
- not to mention possibly useful!

Cheers,

Thank you for posting this link. Not only does the bookmarklet referred to
work well, but the squarefree site has many other useful bookmarklets. I
found a few which fix annoyances that regularly frustrate me.

Try it. I think it's web based [Javascript] and not dependent on computer
based architecture.

Thank you for posting this link. OperaPassView presents the data in a more
easily readable format, but this one works fine, too, so I've filed it for
future reference as another string to my bow.
